FAQ

How much will the ICAAE iTQ e-award cost?

£5.00 per unit (Inc. unit certificates) + £5.00 ‘Cash – in’ (Inc. qualification certificate)

Total per qualification (4 units @ £5.00) = £20.00 + £5.00 = £25.00

ICAAE use a credit based payment system for these units/qualifications.  This is to reduce the burden of paperwork and create a more efficient invoicing and payment system for both Centres/organisations and ICAAE.

Centres/organisations will be required to purchase credits for the Level One and Level Two qualifications, which can then be cashed in when certification is required for candidates at unit or qualification level. As credits for units are only used when a candidate has collected the required evidence, there should be a 100% pass rate. Purchased credits are not therefore assigned to an individual candidate or to a particular unit or qualification.

Centres/organisations must have purchased their credits in order for moderation and certification to take place.

1 credit = a unit certification
1 credits = £5 ‘Cash-in’
5 credits = a whole qualification certification

Once a centre/organisation has registered and been approved they will be sent a Credit Order Form to purchase credits. The minimum number of credits a centre may purchase is 30 (6 candidates).

On receipt of the Credit Order Form ICAAE will invoice centres/organisations.

Candidates' names are not required when the centre purchases credits. Credits will be deducted from the centres/organisations balance when certificates have been issued.
